It's always sunny and 74 deg in CA

This morning was the second time in two days that we canceled water practice due to cold temperatures. It's been down to 32 deg F at 5:00 am, and likely colder in the hour until sun up. So, we haven't been able to row every day out here in sunny California. At least it's better than having ice on the water and several feed of snow on the ground, as I hear it is at Dartmouth, or elsewhere back east.

I recall the temperature rule from Potomac Boat Club being something to the effect of 1) no one rows when the air is below 32 deg F, and 2) when it's below 36 deg F you must have 4 oars on the water (2x, 4-, 4+, 8+) and be accompanied by a motor launch. We need to write these things up for our boathouse.
